Amended Articles of Association of the of Ladies Auxiliary of the California Society Sons of the American Revolution
                                                                                              I.
The name of this unincorporated association is Ladies Auxiliary of the California Society Sons of the American Revolution (“LACASSAR”).
                                                                                              II.
A. This association is a tax exempt charitable organization. It is organized as a nonprofit public benefit association and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the nonprofit association law for charitable purposes. (I.R.S. Code, 501(c)(3); Cal. Rev. & Tax. Code, § 23701 et seq.; Cal. Corp. Code, § 18000 et seq.; Cal. Gov. Code §§ 12581, 12585, 12586, subd. (a); Cal. Code Regs., Tit. 11, §§ 300-306.)
B. The specific purpose of this association is to assist the California Society Sons of the American Revolution with fund raising for its special projects.

A. This association is organized and operated exclusively for education purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and section 23701 of the California Revenue and Tax Code.

B. No part of the activities of this association shall consist of carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, and the association shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign (including the publishing or distribution of statements) on behalf of any candidate for public office.
                                                                                              V.
The property of this association is irrevocably dedicated to educational purposes and not part of the net income or assets of the association and shall never inure to the benefit of any director, officer or member thereof or to the benefit of any private person. Upon the dissolution or winding up of the association, its assets remaining after payment, or provision for payment, of all debts and liabilities of this association shall be distributed to California Society Sons of the American Revolution in accordance with the bylaws.
